Now that your skin has received its advanced treatment, take a moment to enjoy the nourishment and care applied. We’ve finished your session with professional serums, hydration, and SPF to support your skin’s repair, renewal, and glow. For best results, leave these products on for the rest of the day and overnight wherever possible.
Over the next few days, it’s normal for your skin to feel tight, dry, or slightly sensitive, and you may notice some flaking, minor peeling, or small breakouts. Pigmentation may temporarily darken as your treatment lifts and renews the skin — this is a healthy, expected response.
During the first week, continue using a gentle, non-exfoliating cleanser, and apply a hydrating moisturiser morning and night. SPF 50 is essential every day, even if it’s cloudy, and sun exposure should be minimised. Avoid exfoliants, retinol, AHAs/BHAs, scrubs, facial waxing, spray tans, and strong heat or activity that may irritate the skin.
We also recommend using Guiya Minerals makeup during this time if you wish to wear makeup — it provides coverage without interfering with the healing process.
Depending on the level of treatment performed, downtime may vary, but your dermal clinician will advise you on what to expect. Once any flaking or peeling has subsided (usually within 7 days), your skin will be ready to return to your normal routine, including gentle exfoliants or Vitamin A serums. Throughout this process, follow any personalised guidance provided by your dermal clinician. Drink plenty of water, eat nourishing foods, and avoid touching your skin to keep it clean and healthy.
Your skin will continue to respond over the next week, revealing renewed hydration, improved texture, and a radiant glow — enjoy it!
