Immediately Post-Treatment

• Avoid touching the treated area for at least 24 hours.
• You may notice swelling, heat, redness, or itchiness—these should dissipate within 48 hours.
• Hydration & Nourishment: Use cosmeceutical-grade serums containing vitamins B, C, and E to hydrate, brighten, and nourish your skin. Let your therapist know what products you are using at home—they can guide you on what to use or avoid.
• Apply recommended aftercare ointment AM + PM.
• SPF is essential: Broad-spectrum SPF 50 must be used daily for at least 7 days after treatment to prevent sunburn or pigmentary changes.

Normal Responses

• Scabbing or crusting may appear—do not pick or remove. These will heal naturally.
• Treated areas may temporarily darken, lighten, or appear pink as the skin repairs.
• Mild pigmentary changes may occur depending on the depth and size of the treated area.

First 7 Days – Important Guidelines

• Do not:Apply makeup or any non-prescribed products for at least 48 hours.Take hot baths, use saunas, or swim for 48 hours.Expose the treated area to the sun, tanning beds, or sun lamps.Use exfoliants, AHAs/BHAs, retinol/retinaldehyde, topical steroids, or scrubs.Apply spray tan products to the treated area.Touch, pick, pull, rub, or create friction on the treated area.Wax the treated area.Perform strenuous exercise that may increase inflammation.
• Continue using hydrating serums, moisturisers, and SPF 50 daily.
• Allow scabs and crusting to heal naturally without interference.

• Depending on the individual, some pigmentary changes or mild redness may persist for a period as the skin repairs.
• Patience, gentle care, hydration, and sun protection are key to optimal healing.
