Beauty Therapist 

Are you an experienced Beauty Therapist with a passion for the beauty and aesthetic industry? Do you excel at delivering outstanding, results-driven treatments and provide personalised results tailored to each client's unique needs and features? Our team of four exceptional therapists, each with unique skills and abilities, collectively make us one of Melbourne's finest. We foster a collaborative and supportive environment built on mutual respect and admiration, ensuring we deliver outstanding results while genuinely enjoying our work together. At The Beauty Extract, our therapists are highly experienced, professional, insightful, and passionate about their craft. We pride ourselves on our empathy and dedication to providing an exceptional experience for our clients.

We are currently seeking a full-time therapist who is particularly available for Saturday work and one or two weeknights a week. However, we are open to discussing part-time opportunities for the right candidate. Our ideal therapist is deeply committed to providing the highest level of customer service and sees their role as a career, not just a job.

ABOUT THE ROLE

To be successful in this role, you will need the following attributes:

  • Diploma or Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy
  • This is NOT an entry level position and is directed at someone with demonstrated experience in the industry.
  • Experienced allrounder in brow sculpting/shaping, tinting/dyeing/laminations, lash lifts, body/face waxing, and female brazilian waxing.
  • Knowledge in skincare, skin treatments and makeup is an advantage.
  • High achiever with big career ambitions.
  • Strong values and a genuine love for the beauty and skin industry.
  • Commitment to learning and excellence in your work.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solutions-focused with a positive attitude.
  • Driven by excellence and always striving to be your best.

Remuneration:

  • Remuneration is negotiable, based on your skillset, experience and qualifications. 
  • Plus, bonuses, super and entitlements.

Hours:

  • Full Time or Part Time available
  • Availability to work Saturdays and one to two evenings per week is required.
  • Enjoy two consecutive days off, closure on all public holidays, and a break over the Christmas period.
  • We prioritise achieving the work-life balance you crave.

Key Responsibilities

  • Willingness to develop new skills aligned with the philosophies of The Beauty Extract.
  • Reception duties
  • Client care, including planning, executing, and following up on treatments and advice
  • Computer skills, Instagram or Facebook skills an advantage 
  • Strong team player, dedicated to supporting business growth and upholding our values of excellence and high standards.
  • Support the team to keep our clinic sustainable, clean and inviting. .
