Medicone Gel is a semi-occlusive, self-drying and transparent pure medical grade silicone gel. Medicone Gel dries to form an occlusive protection layer that is waterproof and hydrating. This reduces transepidermal water loss (TEWL) and protects compromised skin areas and open wounds from chemical and microbial invasion due to its inert composition.

Medicone Gel can be applied to fresh incisions and excisions, open abrasions and compromised skin surfaces including those from post laser treatments, chemical peels, dermal abrasion, plasma skin tightening, cosmetic tattoo procedures ,1st and 2nd degree burns and radiation therapy.
